[glow=blue,2,300]Ghosts can take the form of shadows when they're trying to hide. There's a Chinese folktale about that called the Ghost's Bride. It's not too difficult a gag once you get the hang of it-- the knack lies in pushing all the air out and squeezing everything else flat. It makes a funny kind of whooshing noise that sounds like a broken Whoopie cushion. [/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]"Thought about"? Man, I wish you been there for the Spontaneous Ectoplasmic Mass Generation of 1973. See, there was this really stupid brute called Randy who was always picking on this other kid named Garret... er, maybe I should save this topic for another time. But this much I'll admit to-- this Randy kid was washing goop out of his drawers for the next seven weeks.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I don't clean the place after dark-- it keeps everybody else awake. But there's no sleep for a restless spirit. I have to keep myself occupied somehow-- thus, the miracle of the Internet.
About the mood slime leg: Sounds just a bit iffy. Since "the juice" is psychoreactive, a mood slime-powered leg might be more mobile... but if I know anything, it's that mood slime can be a tad unpredictable. Maybe I could tag with Otter on that idea, but getting him to focus on any one project is like painting a grain of sand with an airbrush. Not possible.[/glow]

So Fritz doesn't have to...
For the story of what happened to Fritz's leg, read "Where In the World Is Chelsea Aberdeen" and "Transition". I'm not sure he's up to a robotic one yet...
And welcome!!!

To add to what Rose said, it's not robotic--it's prosthetic, and he has to take it off every night before he goes to sleep. He's actually got two, one for normal, day-to-day stuff, and one that's a little more "high performance" if he's going out on a call--it's got springs and stuff so he can run when the ghosts start chasing him. And every once in a while I like to hide it form him while he's asleep.

Yeah, I was privvy to one of these leg-hiding occurances while I was bumming around West Coast's firehouse not too long ago, when Damon Lucas showed up there stalking Rachel. By the way, Damon is meeting a lot of new friends inside our containment unit (evil look).
