[glow=blue,2,300]Thank you for the warm welcome. It's nice to meet you. Most people, y'know, they just turn and run when I show up (except this one guy who thought I was his dead aunt... He kept goin', "Aunt Leavenworth!!!" I was, like, looking over my shoulder and going, "Moi?")[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]"Most people" was the central phrase of that sentence. Sad thing about the guy, though: his aunt had passed on peacefully in the hotel I was haunting some years before. He was so convinced I was her that I never had the heart to correct him, and I've gone by the name "Rachel Leavenworth" ever since. You know, Dr. Stevens, I do have a question for you. How does a person go about getting a job here? You most mnow something about that, or we wouldn't be here having this conversation. Dead I may be, but that doesn't mean I'll just sit around collecting dust. The hotel I used to haunt has just been demolished, and I seem to be out of luck. I just need a place to rest in peace, but I don't accept charity, so whatever needs doing, I can get done. Need someone to stack books at a distance of 20 feet? I can do that. Want somebody to keep the place at state health standards? I'm available. Short of bodies to strap a proton pack to? You don't have to ask me twice. If you'd told me I would wind up like this back when I was alive, I wouldn't have believed it, but here I am: I'm begging you guys to make me work! You see, nobody seems to understand... HOW EMINENTLY BORING THE AFTERLIFE IS!!![/glow]

Perhaps, there should be a position for you, Ms. Rachel, I think the term mascot would be unfair to call you, let's say, for your sake, you can could gives us liable information about the spirit world, just incase we square off against powerful beings that could easily send us inot the spirit world. Since it is a popular belief that ghosts are pure beings with unfinished business within their own rights, also you could be able to sence other supernatuals with your sences, aswell.
On tops of that, you cnould have a better chating conversations with a person that calls himself, Victor Nightstalker.

[glow=blue,2,300]Well, it's true I can sense other ghosts more quickly than breathers do. The living can see each other more easily than they see ghosts, and it works the other way around, too: ghosts can see each other more easily than they see the living. (I can see living people just fine, but ghosts are all naturally far-sighted because our pupils are fixed and dilated. Everything I see, unless it is also spectral, is slightly fuzzy and two-dimensional.)
Also, I have a few tidbits about other entities, but nothing extraordinary. The only really noteworthy thing I can think off off-hand is [glow=red,2,300]La Cuchilla de las Muertes[/glow], a strange weapon I encountered not long before I left home. Rumor has it than when the weapon penetrates the heart of any being, alive or dead, it sends the being's soul directly to Hell. The leader of the Dust Monsters used it to maintain control among his gang.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]Aw, shucks... attractive? You really think so? That's sweet.
I'm just passing it on-- I got a nice welcome when I first came, too. I don't think you have sixth sense, though, because I usually make myself visible... if you could detect me while I were invisible, or doing the shadow trick, then you'd definitely be a clairvoyant.[/glow]
