Fritz, you lucky dog. I'd kill for a Yoo-Hoo every morning. Back in TN, Mindy (our seccretary) used to fling open the curtains on certain days when I'd be sleeping half-on/half-off my bed. Every Monday I'd wake up in the floor.

And nothing on the Ecto-1S? Shame, shame, shame, Dr. Williams.

Welcome to the board, Dr. Thompson. As you can see, your profile has been modified to show you as a GBWC Reservist, which is what you are. Looking forward to working with you more in the future.

I have a question regarding the team. What do the team's reservists primarily do? Do they just hang around until needed to bitch-slap some ghost or what?

It varies. Dr. Griffiths still comes to headquarters from time to time to help maintain the equipment. Dr. Thompson and Dr. Lavoy are currently our "first call" reservists, say if someone is sick or injured. Most of the rest have moved on to other occupations that fill most of their time, and only contact or visit occassionally. But they are still listed on payroll and continue to be members of GBI with access to company resources, and can be called in the event of a major crisis.

Think of it like the Justice League. Normally, folks like Captain Atom, Black Canary, Green Arrow, etc. keep to their own business, and Superman, Batman, and the rest of the "big seven" handle things. But when Darkseid or someone like that shows up and they need the extra firepower, they call in the reserves and before you know it, you've got the full roster of 30+ that you see in JLU ready for battle.

I think to say that we have to be the largest GBI Francise in the History of GBI. But that was to be awesome. I have to say that we have improved over the past year or so. I am now active of as a member here. I'll be online more and I will be able to finish the stories that I have been meaning to finish. Hooray!! Once again, Dr. Kyle Stevens reporting for duty, folks.

Glad to see you posting again, Kyle. Of course, we're not quite as big as we used to be, but we still get the job done (lol)

Well, I still Peter Kong and Michael Chad in my stories, despite of all the team shifting and I am willing to wait and introduce the newer teammates later on as the fan fictions progress where I'll find a place for them to fit in, By the way, it is my B-Daym and I'll be 22 years old ( 26 as the GBWC character.)

Happy Birthday.
No problem with the issue of being "behind" on the team configuration. Right now, I think the second story you sent me works pretty well as happening before the bunch of them left (I've put it on the Case File page as July 2004). Helps fill in the gap a little bit. And even after that they're still listed as Reservists, so if you want to keep using them it's fine.

Right, I am also writing the last two stories before the changes started. I'm currently working on another one and it should be done real soon. I'll email it to you when I am finished.

[glow=blue,2,300]Whoa... who turned out the lights... Ohh... Hey, good morning! Say, what time is it? (pause) 2000-what?! I really have been out of it. What's that? I'm glowing and you can see right through me? Well, here's a news flash: I'm dead. But before you bust out the proton packs, relax. I'm just a corpse looking for a good time. And if that means helping to take out a few not-so-blithe spirits, I'm hip. It's been... (checks watch) some one hundred years since I've seen so much excitement, and in the meantime my memory's gotten a little patchy. My real name has gone bye-bye for now, but I always liked the name Rachel, so let's use that one as a starting point.[/glow] ;D
