One question, just what all on the official GBI list can be placed in ecto-containment? Can I get a small list please?

It's hazardous to say that certain types of entities can "always" be placed in an ECU, but of the list Dr. Ketcham posted the Standard Method usually proves effective against the following, though sometimes it may require extensive neutronization to render them containable:
Ghosts (of course...) Apparitions Doppelgänger (at least some varieties) Demons Leprechawns Banshees Poltergeist Incubus/Succubus
Many of the others are corporeal entities, and can only be placed in an ECU after the application of a Molecular Destabilization beam; the most famous example is our use of this method to render the Boogeyman suceptible to Containment. However (and I speak from personal experience) the Destabilizer is a somewhat hazardous and unreliable piece of equipment.

Boy, have I got a lot to learn...
Oh, well, as Dr. Venkman once said, "You knew the job was dangerous when you took it!"

Wait a sec! I've seen Ghostbusters trap goblins, gremlins, trolls, gargoyles, fairies, etc. before. C'mon Prof. S, are ya holdin' out on us?

That's right! And as I recall GBNY only used the atomic destabilizers once on that Bogeyman thing. And the other GBI franchises are a little skittish about using 'em.
Hell, this very franchise has captured goblins (Hobnail, the Bugbear), fairies (several Monherians) and sea monsters (Jenny Hannivers) without having to resort to the ATD's.
