Greetings. On behalf of Ghostbusters New York, I wish to remind you that today, April 7, 2004, is the date of release for the new Ghostbusters comic book published by 88MPH StudiosPeter first entered talks with 88's head, Mr. Sebastien Clavet, almost two years ago, and you may remember when Mr. Clavet, posting as "Red Ketchup" started the rumors about "It's Coming" back on Ghostbusters.net. Well, after a voluminous amout of red tape was dealt with (Louis could probably fill you in in boring detail, but I understand Sony, as our officially contracted licensee, had to approve all details) and other delays (the unfortunate departure of Billy Dallas Patton from the project; last minute problems that delayed things from February until now) the book should be in the hands of eagar Ghostheads all over the country. I hope you'll give it a look. Though I think my children laugh a little too hard at my scene with their mother...

That comic would be like five times cooler if they put me in it.

I read it and liked it very much - I just want the other three NOW though!
When I heard that it was sold out, I uttered a few expletives, to put it mildly! But apparently that only applied to some of the online stores, as Mountain Empire Comics in Johnson City, TN still had a few copies in stock.
I heard 88mph was considering doing a second printing of the first issue in response to the high demand, any news on that?

Well, on their website ( www.88mphstudios.com ) they announce they are indeed doing a second printing. The cover is a head-on shot of the ECTO-1. I haven't heard yet what the exact print run of the first printing was, but it seems an extremely good sign that they sold out in two days.

Hey, stupidos, issue 2 is out, and it's just as (Eduardo-less) cool as the first. I made sure to read it aloud to Egon's kids when he wasn't around, doing these great funny voices. Just like last time, they laughed really hard at those scenes with their Mom coming on to him. ;D I didn't really care for all the clown jokes, though. I had a bad experience with clowns a while back.

I'm sure they will find them just as amusing as my children find the comic book.

The fourth issue of the Legion mini-series is out. The storyline is brought to a most satisfying conclusion.
And some scenes at the end brought back a fond memory or two.
